Privacy policy

Vaillancore is operated by Zachary Vaillancourt in Austin, TX. A formal legal entity name is not published on this website.

This policy describes the Vaillancore website. It is not a project agreement, and it does not describe a customer system we might later build for you.

What the inquiry form collects

If you submit the form on the contact page, you give us:

• Your name and work email
• Your organization's name, type, and website if you provide one
• The service you are asking about, an approximate budget range, and a timeline
• Your description of the project

The budget range is used to judge whether the work is a fit. It is not a quote and it is not stored as a price. We also ask you to acknowledge this policy. A hidden field is used to reject automated submissions. Please leave it empty.

How inquiry information is used

We use it to read the request, decide whether it is a fit, and reply to you. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you wrote to us. Submitting the form does not create a paid engagement.

An accepted inquiry is emailed to Vaillancore. This website does not keep a separate database of form submissions. If email delivery is not configured, the form reports that the inquiry was not sent and nothing is kept.

The email is transmitted by Resend when that service is configured. Resend processes the message in order to deliver it. We do not send your name, email, or message to analytics.

Analytics

If a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, and you are visiting the public production host, the site loads Google Analytics. It records page views and a short list of named events: primary calls to action, when the inquiry form is started, when a submission is accepted, and which fields failed validation. Those events include the page path, the call-to-action name, the organization type, and the service category. They do not include your name, email, organization name, website, budget, timeline, or project description.

Analytics does not load on local development. If no measurement ID is set, the analytics script is not included at all. We do not use advertising pixels.

Cookies

The inquiry form does not set a cookie. Google Analytics, when it is loaded, may set its own cookies. The site stores the first page path of your visit in session storage so a later inquiry can be tied to that page in analytics. That value is a path such as /industries/nonprofits, not your form answers.

How long we keep it

Inquiry email is kept with ordinary correspondence for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of the conversation, then deleted. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics under that product's retention settings.

Your requests

To ask about an inquiry you sent, use the contact form. A published street address and phone number are not part of this website.

Children

This website is for organizations evaluating engineering work. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page will change with it.
